Melissa Vinson holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology and a Master's Degree in Family Therapy. Utilizing a systemic approach, Melissa has extensive experience working with adolescents and their families. Melissa also works with a vast series of challenges including eating disorders, body image issues and other health concerns.
With a solution-focused style, Melissa helps the client think critically about their
challenges, viewing their situation from different perspectives. Melissa's gentle, yet
honest approach aims at helping the client evaluate him/herself using an analytical
lens, and find their inner strength to deal with their challenges effectively. Through psychoeducation, Melissa also helps the client learn useful tools, skills and techniques
to utilize outside of the therapy session.
