Taly Kadoch obtained a BA degree in English and a BS degree in Psychology at Florida State University. Taly completed her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling Psychology at Florida International University and has been working in the field for over three years. Along the way she accrued multiple continuous education courses including domestic violence training, assessment methods and treatment for co-existing disorders through the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Additionally, Taly has worked collaboratively with the Broward County Court system, Department of Pre-Trial release and Probation, assisting clients to obtain appropriate treatment services. Currently, Taly is a candidate for CAP (Certified Addictions Professional) certification.
Taly's professional experience includes extensive work with individuals facing a spectrum of addictive disorders including alcohol abuse, multiple substance abuse disorders, sexual and eating disorders. Taly works with individuals, couples and families and offers multiple therapeutic treatment groups in her practice.
Taly offers a unique individualized treatment approach to addictive behaviors focusing on assisting clients to utilize their own personal skills and strengths. Through intensive, honest and comprehensive exploration of internal challenges and adverse behaviors, Taly' encourages clients to recognize, process, and associate conflicting feelings with consequential behaviors. Using a strategic and multi-faceted approach, clients will learn to identify and clarify various components of their lives to recreate a healing, integrated sense of self. By creating an empathic and educational environment, Taly supports clients through the process of individual growth.
Taly's experience leading various modalites of therapeutic groups for addictive disorders is considerable. As a substantial advocate for the advantageous and solitary utility of peer support and interpersonal growth achievable particularly in-group settings, Taly offers group therapy both as an adjunct to her practice and primary treatment modality. Taly engages group by stimulating various topics of interest to generate personal introspection, dynamic peer discussion and feedback. Throughout group, Taly works collaboratively to facilitate collective processing in a supportive structure. Taly offers group members a tremendous opportunity to become active participants of their recovery process. |
